Registration and Start Date at Duna International College:

Regular courses start in the first week of October every year.

Duna College in Budapest, Hungary, offers the following courses for students interested in studying in Hungary:

  1. Intensive Pre-University Medical Course in English:
    • Two sessions each year on January 17th and January 30th for those seeking education in the European country of Hungary.
  2. Intensive Pre-University Engineering Course in English:
    • Two sessions each year on February 15th and February 30th for those interested in studying in Hungary.
  3. Intensive Pre-Economics Course in English:
    • Two sessions each year on February 15th and February 30th for those interested in studying in Hungary.
  4. English Language Course:
    • Starts on the first Tuesday of every month at Duna College for those interested in studying in Hungary.

Conditions for College Withdrawal and Tuition Fee Refund:

Withdrawal from Duna College, Hungary, before arriving in Hungary and before enrolling in Duna College:

Repayment Policy: (Since September 1, 2018, for all applicants, including previous and future cases)

For Non-European Union Citizens:

  1. Before visa application – Subject to acceptance: In this case, only the application fee (200 Euros) is non-refundable.
  2. After visa confirmation, before landing in Hungary: Visa must first be canceled, and then only 50% of the tuition fee is refundable. The application and residence fees are non-refundable.
  3. After landing in Hungary and before or after enrollment in college: None of the fees, including tuition, application, residence, insurance, and assistance fees, are refundable.
  4. Visa rejection: Tuition fee is refundable. Application and residence fees are non-refundable. Repayment only occurs after the official rejection letter from the respective consulate is submitted.

For European Union Citizens:

  1. Before college enrollment: 25% of the tuition fee is deducted, and the remainder is refundable. The application and residence fees are non-refundable.
  2. After college enrollment: None of the fees, including tuition, application, residence, insurance, and assistance fees, are refundable.

  • Assistance and guidance in opening a bank account in Hungary.
  • Guidance and assistance in obtaining a student residence permit.
  • One-day city tour for familiarity with shopping centers, metro stations, and restaurants.
  • Guidance and support for students to cope with potential entry challenges such as homesickness and adjusting to the educational and living environments in Hungary.

Duna International College Student Dormitory:

This college has considered suitable dormitories for its students, which, in comparison to the cost of renting accommodation in Budapest, are very cost-effective and can be provided at a monthly cost ranging from approximately 85 to 220 Euros.

The dormitory cost depends on the quality, the number of shared rooms, and the available beds in the room. Students have the option to choose according to their preferences.
