About Eton College Canada

Eton College Canada, situated near the Olympic Village and the beautiful Falls Creek in Vancouver, British Columbia, was established in July 2003. It gained recognition from the Private Training Institutions Branch (PTIB) of British Columbia in 2005, initially offering only three programs. Over time, their program selection expanded to include 14 career and academic programs covering a wide range of sectors, such as travel, tourism, hospitality, flight attendant training, and business administration. In 2007, Eton College formed its first articulation agreement with Royal Roads University in Victoria BC, followed by becoming a LinkBC affiliate partner in 2008.

Presently, their pathway partnerships have grown to include Capilano University in North Vancouver and Hawaii Pacific University in Honolulu. In 2009, Eton College relocated to a new campus, which provides facilities for an on-site library and communications resource center. The following year, in June, they received the Education Quality Assurance (EQA) designation, a globally recognized symbol of quality education and consumer protection.

Eton College is strongly dedicated to Work Integrated Learning (WIL) and invests in infrastructure and practical training that align with students’ study plans. For more than 10 years, the institution has been renowned for delivering innovative career training programs in collaboration with leading local and global companies in the tourism, hospitality, and business sectors. Eton College strives to prepare learners for successful careers in their chosen fields. To date, Eton College has provided career training to over 1,800 domestic and international students across various service industries.

Faculties at Eton College Canada

Faculty of Business Administration:

This faculty focuses on providing students with a strong foundation in business principles and management practices. The programs offered under this faculty, such as Business Administration, International Business Management, Marketing and Sales, and Accounting and Payroll Administration, equip students with essential business skills, including strategic planning, marketing strategies, financial management, and human resources.

Faculty of Hospitality and Tourism:

The Faculty of Hospitality and Tourism prepares students for dynamic careers in the hospitality and tourism industry. Programs like Hospitality Management, Hospitality and Resort Business Management, Tourism Management, and Event and Conference Management develop students’ knowledge of customer service, hotel and resort operations, event planning, tourism marketing, and destination management.

Faculty of Flight Attendant and Tourism:

This faculty offers programs tailored for individuals aspiring to work as flight attendants or pursue careers in the tourism industry. The Flight Attendant Diploma Program provides students with the necessary skills in customer service, safety procedures, and inflight operations. The Travel and Tourism Diploma Program and Tourism and Hospitality Business Management Diploma Program focus on topics such as travel agency operations, tour management, hospitality services, and sustainable tourism practices.

Faculty of Computing and Information Technology:

The programs under the Faculty of Computing and Information Technology focus on developing students’ technical skills in the field of IT. The Network Systems Administrator Diploma Program equips students with knowledge of computer networks, server administration, and cybersecurity. The Computerized Accounting and Office Administration Diploma Program provides students with essential skills in accounting software, bookkeeping, office management, and administrative tasks.

Admission Requirements at Eton College

  1. Academic Requirements: International students must meet the minimum academic requirements for admission. This typically includes the completion of secondary education that is equivalent to Canadian high school completion. Applicants must submit their official transcripts or academic records, including course grades and graduation certificates. If these documents are not in English, they must be translated and officially certified.
  2. English Language Proficiency: International students whose first language is not English must demonstrate English language proficiency. Accepted language proficiency tests include the TOEFL, IELTS, or other equivalent exams. Students must obtain a minimum score of 6.0 overall on the IELTS academic test or a score of 61 on the TOEFL iBT test.
    • Students who decide to register at Eton College without providing proof of English proficiency will need to complete the Eton College Placement Assessment. The outcome of this assessment will determine if the student has sufficient English language and writing abilities to directly enter university-level studies or enroll in the Eton College BEC program.

Tuition, Fees, and Refund Policy

Tuition and Fees: 

  1. Application Fee: $125 CAD
  2. Tuition Fee: Ranges between $7,000 CAD – $19,000 CAD depending on the program
    • Eg. Analyst Programmer Diploma Tuition: $19,175 CAD
    • Eg. Travel and Tourism Management Diploma Tuition: $9,825 CAD
    • Eg. Flight Attendant Preparation Diploma Tuition: $7,095 CAD
    • Eg. Business Administration Program Tuition: $10,925 CAD

Refund Policy: 

Should an applicant not successfully obtain their study permit before the start of the term, Eton College will refund the deposit minus an administrative processing charge. Applicants will be required to provide proof of their declined study permit to be eligible for a refund.

Deadlines

Applications for admission are accepted on a rolling admissions basis and are processed at any time throughout
the year.

  1. Fall Term (September intake): September 3rd
  2. Winter Term (January Intake): January 8th
  3. Summer Term (May intake): May 6th
